We continue to provide care for injured wildlife, including wild birds. However, due to H5 bird flu being detected in Victoria, please call us before bringing any wild bird to the clinic so our team can assess the situation and advise you on the safest next steps.
If you find multiple sick or dead birds, or a bird showing unusual neurological or respiratory signs, avoid contact and call the Emergency Animal Disease Hotline on 1800 675 888 (tel:1800 20675 20888).
Please report even one sick or dead seabird, waterbird, shorebird or bird of prey.
Do not handle dead birds.
